Betty Argue, Committed Leadership for Indian Trail Improvement District

As an ITID Board Supervisor, I bring years of experience and a deep commitment to protecting our community. I remain focused on strategic infrastructure improvements, defending our rights, enhancing disaster resilience, and ensuring fiscal responsibility. With your support, I will continue to lead with integrity and dedication to the well-being of the District and our residents.

I bring a fresh, creative, open-minded perspective. I have knowledge of the Acreage and surrounding communities. I am familiar with ITID’s Charter, the County’s Comprehensive Plan, Zoning, ULDC, Special District Statutes, and State Statutes. I have experience and education in community advocacy, community volunteering, real estate, law, and business. I am firmly committed to the Acreage and surrounding communities. Since 2016, I have served in many leadership roles on the Board. I was primarily President for 4 years and Vice-President for 2 years. I worked as Treasurer for one year and now serve as the Secretary. I also am a service manager for a marine service company in Jupiter.

My passion for community service is matched only by my love for reading. I love spending time with my husband and our three sons. I especially enjoy watching my boys play football. Additionally, I have a great appreciation for blues and R&B music.

My unwavering commitment to community has been demonstrated during my years of service and before. I seek discussions from residents with varying opinions. I continue research regularly on the various issues that arise in the District. I am on a quest for innovative solutions for issues facing our community. I will continue to represent and respect all residents of the Acreage, even when we may disagree. I am focused on addressing the issues facing our community.

Prioritizing ITID’s responsibilities is crucial to residents’ health and well-being. Roads and drainage infrastructure are the most important priorities. Balancing park improvements and developing horse trails bolsters our rural equestrian lifestyles. We must return to fiscal and contractual responsibility. Accountability, oversight, and transparency are also essential. It is important to include the objective involvement of the Inspector General. In the capacity of ITID supervisor, I will serve all residents of the District with honesty and integrity.

Thank you for your continued support! I look forward to hearing from you.
